Thread: Macadamia Nut Oil

Ive seen Dave Palumbo talk about the benefits of using Macadamia Nut Cooking Oil as opposed to olive oil as its more heart-healthy and has a higher smoke point so doesn't denature what youre cooking as much,

But I can't find it anywhere, looked all over my local tesco & asda and asked the staff but they don't have it, gonna try my local health shop tomorrow, has anyone ever tried it and where did you get it from?

I have had no luck finding it either! He also mentions fat free cheese, does that exist in the UK?

Can only really get Macademia Nut Oil online guys.
Im not using it though as its far to expensive!

I think he is referring to what we know as Quark. It's a soft cheese made from semi or skimmed milk. All supermarkets stock it, normally next to the cottage cheese.
I found macadamia nut oil at a local health food shop or like Josh says, look online.
