Question My cutting diet... help needed

So its the last month of the competition and I haven't bulked up much so was thinking maybe I could win the £250 of supplements if I lose **** loads of fat and get really ripped! So I'm gonna try this Dave Palumbo diet that everyone's talking about. I'm not sure how well this is will work for me cos I hate watching what I eat.

So from the Dave Palumbo thread and Adam's diet for a 155lb male (I'm 151lb) here's my planned diet:

Meal #1: 3 whole omega-3 eggs. (microwave scrambled)
Meal #2: 1 scoop gold standard
Meal #3: 1 Chicken Breast + 1/4 cup raw almonds
Meal #4: 1 scoop gold standard
Meal #5: 200g Beef Steak / Cooked Mince + 1 Cup Green Salad + Dressing 2 teaspoons olive oil, 3 teaspoons balsamic vinegar
Meal #6: 1 scoop gold standard

    What you guys think?
Gold standard has 3g of carbs in each scoop will that be a problem?
Are omega-3 eggs necessary? - They are more expensive but the nutritional breakdown is almost exactly the same as free range in asda.
Can I put pepper on the steak when cooking it?
Should I just cook the mince on its own? won't that taste like crap?
If I do cardio on this diet will I die?? I'm used to getting loads of good carbs in oats etc to fuel long runs
Can I have the whey with milk? In my opinion whey tastes like **** with water, I usually mix it with skimmed milk.

    So many questiosn!

ryt matey ive been on this diet for just over 9 weeks now and done alot of research on it so to answer ur questions. ur diet from what i can tell doesnt have enough fat (u need around 0.5grams fat per lb of bodyweight) in and as dave explains if don't get enough fats on this diet u wont lose fat as the body will be in a deprived state and therefore retain it. so with each of them protein shakes u need sum fat e.g. peanut butter or extra virgin olive oil. with meal 5 for ur weight i dont think 2 tbsp's of olive oil is necessary and check that vinegar for the carb content, also try and not always have red meat for ur fatty protein, salmon and trout are great alternatives. i would also look to supplement an omega 3 fish oil and evening primose oil this is because if u dont get enough of these essential fatty acids ur body will be in fat deprived state and therefore retain fat. with gold standard as ur getting 9 grams carbs a day its not ideal an isolate would be better but its not a massive concern. i use regular eggs, as i have also noticed the similarities (it must be the yank ones with no saturates). spices are fine in moderation e.g pepper, salt, chilli flakes etc just dont go crazy, so season ur mince. for at least the first week i wouldn't do cardio because ur body has to adapt and get into ketosis (takes around 2 weeks when ur first cheat is ) and u will drop water weight pretty rapid so u don't wana stress the body too much but after that yes u will be fine to do cardio but keep it under 130bpm to spare muscle - best tyms to do it are fasted and post weights. milk = direct source of carbs so no milk, NO CARBS lol so just man it up lol hope that helps

Any eggs will be fine but free range has a better quality of nutrients.
You can put pepper on your steak but salt will attract fluid retention.
The carbs in protien shake will not be a problem.
Putting onions with the mince will improve flavour you can add other flavours if you want but the cleaner the better.
Milk with protien can slow down the bodys use of the protien.
Cardio and risistance traing get harder and you will want to both die and kill people!
    Good luck bud.

    cheers for the help guys!
If I add a teaspoon of peanut butter to each protein shake is that okay? Also I take 2 cod liver oil + omega 3 capsules (498mg each) a day anyway for my running should I keep this going?
Also does it make sense to keep taking multi vits? Lack of veg is a bit of a worry.

    I miss carbs allready!

    Hi Chris,
I did receive your pm but to be honest Edd has answered everything you have asked me!
If you still need more help let me know.

Dave also recommends 3000mg of evening primrose oil every day.

JuicePlus is a good way to get extra fruit/veg/vitamins into your diet...dave also recommends these.. JuicePlus+

A low fiber diet is unhealthy for a number of reasons. Firstly, it can cause severe problems within the digestive system that can cause long-term illness and disease as well as discomfort in the nearer future. Constipation, diarrhea and gas are all symptomatic of a low fiber diet that can be solved with an increased fiber consumption within just a few weeks. If that does not work, medication often will.

Some illnesses and diseases that occur as a result of a low fiber diet can be a lot more severe than a little constipation and gas. Some can actually even be life threatening. Diverticulosis and colon cancer are just two of the illnesses that require quite serious treatment in order to get your health back on the right track. Whilst a high fiber diet may not prevent either occurring completely, a low fiber diet will almost certainly encourage them.
