Default Charles Poliquin: master of trianing.

Some great articles by a guy who makes some very bold claims!

"if a personal trainer cannot add 18lbs lean muscle to your physique in 11 weeks he should find a new career".

Im sure you agree Adam that that to gain is very hard indeed! Even with great genetics...we know how hard taylor trains and eats etc..and he may well have but that on in a year. Just makes you question it!

Like the tricep article though..so skullcrushers at different angles with the arms further away will be better! Worth trying!

    Good find,

yeah i dont believe for a second that you can add 18lbs of muscle in 11 weeks unless you added 30lbs of fat along with it. wither way his stuff does sound good and make scientific sense, its just his insane claims that annoy me.

yeah the upper arm position affects the part of the tricep that is primarily used. im going to try that as well. might do a full workout of extensions from different angles.

Charles Poliquin is a legend in strength training, I remember when he used to write for Muscle Media magazine a decade ago, fantastic training articles, he has always been at forefont of new training concepts. If he was training me I reckon I could achieve anything!!

POliquin does blow his own trumpet but his theories are all educated. His book, The Poliquin Principles is a great read.
