think ive found the original recipe

Ever crave chinese food and don't want to order take outs because of all those unhealthy salts and MSG?

Here's a healthy and flexible recipe that will sate that hunger.

    What you'll need:

    1/2 tsp of rice vinegar
1/2 onion or red onion, diced
    1 tsp of crushed ginger
    1 tsp of crushed garlic
2 tbsp or shot of rice wine or white wine
1 tbsp of dark soy sauce
    1 tsp of brown sugar
1-2 stems of spring onion diced
1 cup of cooked brown rice
2 chicken breasts or lean beef, either striped or cubed
broccoli, carrot, grean/red pepper, cabbage, cucumber (what ever else you want)

    Important tips:

Make sure all vegetables, meat and other ingredients are chopped, diced and in room temperature before cooking.

If possible, steam the vegetables before cooking, this will greatly speed up cooking time and lock in most nutrients.

    Intructions,

Heat up wok or frying pan on max meat, with very little oil 1/2 teaspoon( I hardly use oil because my wok is none stick).

Add onions and cook until semi-transparent then add spring onions, ginger and garlic, stir well. (follow this order)

Then add the meats and brown with the dark soya sauce (if you want chillies, nows the time to add them).

When meat is browned add brown sugar and stir well. (at this point, there might be some sticky or dried bits on the pan, don't worry about them)

Turn down heat to medium and add the Wine and vinegar, stir slowly until simmering (this will make the sauce in which the vegetable will cook in)

Add vegetable and stir until cooked. (if vegetable is steamed before, you'll only need to stir until flavour is soaked in)

After vegetable is cooked add the cooked brown rice, stir until brown rice has absorbed all the sauce.

    Enjoy

Thanks To Jok3 at M&S for this

cook your wholemeal rice as per the packet. put a small amount of ground nut oil in a pan put in a few egg whites and stir it about on a high heat. RICE DONE!

or cook the rice then drain. chop some corriander and mix with a chicken stock cube into the rice. lovely rice DONE!

or just like everything i eat at the moment a bit of low salt soy sauce over the cooked rice. MACHINE SOY SPECIAL RICE DONE lol
