id reccomend phd synergy if your starting off, its an excellent all in one, tastes good, mixes well and ive seen good results from it in the past,shake an hour before your workout, shake immediately after and your laughing.
Main thing is what your wanting to achieve from working out, what are your goals?, simply taking synergy wont be enough, you have to have a solid workout plan and and equally solid diet for things to take shape,everything takes time but its worth working for

Protein powder is the first supplement that any budding bodybuilder should look into.
As Rich says - what are your goals?
PhD products are good, although the Synergy is an all-in-one and may not be required in your case. For a whey blend my favourite tasting shake is Gaspari Myofusion.
