start up advice
Just wondered if i could get some advice as new to this. Have been off and on for a few months and gone through a range of supplements in the process. To be honest have nbeen half hearted, but am now eager to kick it off and step it up.
Heres my dilema:
I'm 28 i work 10 hours a day (5 days one week 6 the next) i take about a hour and a half travelling to and from work. I'm a Tattoo artist so am sat on my arse all day and my diet is crap. I've got in my eyes a fairly good home gym and some free weights. I'm not a bad size for a skinny bloke although developed a stomach from 6 years of no exercise and being sat down all day. I got 4 kids at home another on the way, hence the home gym so sleep and workout time is not brilliant.
I'm looking at bulking up and cutting my stomach, i know what to do, cut calories, better diet and cardio. I'm looking at bulking up a little first then cutting weight and bringing in the cardio as don't want to lose to much shape as always been skinny.
At present im taking phd synergy, multi vitamins, with mainly phd v-max pump sometimes wired for my workouts. Find a can of monster during workouts alot better though. I train after work so am normally slighty tired, i've got abot 4 tubs of synergy left. Then i've got muscle-tech nitro-tech and cell-tech to try. I also have nutrex lipo 6x on stand by for when i've got a little mass and start my cardio. I've started trying to bring protein bars into my work life rather than chocolate bars as a quick pick up.
I just wanted to know thoughts on supplements and workout patterns. I've just changed from doing full body every other day, to another routine. Can't remember the name but its where you do 2 weeks in rotation working 3 times a week. Do for example shoulders, triceps, legs, mon, back, bicep, chest wed then shoulder routine again fri the next week switch around to hit the other body part twice.
All advice will be greatly appreciated i know i need cardio and diet but wanna start walking first so i dont go to hard and burn out.

hello mate. I would advise a body part split like mon back bi's wed chest tri's, friday legs, shoulders, neck. its important to give your muscles time to repair after ripping the s#+t out of them. this routine will give them time to recover, also its important which bodyparts are trained together. for example you would use your triceps for most chest excersizes so thats why they get trained together, to maximize productivity. if your looking to bulk keep those calories high but keep it good quality. dont pump yourself full of crap as ity will just take you longer to cut. to build muscle you need to keep the training intence. Short breaks between sets and heavy weights. rep range 6-8 with like 3 or four sets. josh and adam will help with diet if u post it up. iIwould advise the monster mega shake as breakfast. Awesome shake! just plan your progress and give yourself short and long term targets. this will help you keep motivated. GOOD LUCK

Thanks for the feedback its much appreciated, i understand a little about diet just havent put it in to practice yet. I used to take phd pharma whey and l-glutamine which with volvic strawberry water could be drunk all day!
I'll try the workout you suggested did shoulders yesterday, didn't feel any pump but aching today so did something. What supplements are best recommended? Seems everyones doing everything, got enough to last me a few months but wanna set my eye on what next. V-max pump works for me or a can of monster. No-xplode i thought i was gonna have a heart attack with, was reading about muscletech halo, has anyone tried it?
Thanks again for the advice its appreciated
