BMR, RMR - Calculations, formula, Advice
I’m trying to work out what my exact calorie requirements are per day – so in turn, I can work out theoretically what my weekly losses should be. I am then going to use these figures to set myself some realistic mid way goals for the next 10 weeks as well as re-evaluate what I’m aiming for by the end of the competition.
At the moment I am:
Height: 70 inches (5’10”)
Weight: 225lbs
Waist: 36”
Age: 24
Fat ~ 30% (Output from my home scales)
I have used various online calculators, but they are all giving me different answers.
Originally I wanted to drop my body fat from 33% to 18%. However, in the remaining 10 weeks I think this might be a little extreme. I was wondering if anyone had the formulas to calculate
Basic Met Rate, Resting Met. Rate, factors to adjust this for activity levels etc etc

What I was also meant to say is that I have booked a holiday for the start of June - Its a few weeks after the comp finihses, but I want to look the best I can.
