im currently cutting fat and im being strict with my diet, but just wondering if it would be a good idea to have a cheat day? i dont wanna ruin the hard work ive done so far

If your having very low carbs then a cheat day would probably be recommended.
All depends how many carbs your having each day?

hi josh im not too sure how much carbs im having a day as im just following a plan out of a book but here is a typical day to show u
breakfast porriddge with raisins 45g oats
lunch turkey n rocket bagguette 100 g bagguette portion of fruit
evening meal pan freid tuna steak with jacket (125 g )
snacks 2 protein shakes and the occasional waxy vol

Not really low carbs then, so i wouldnt bother with a cheat day.

If your cutting I wouldn't recommend a cheat DAY, I used to do this and it is amazing how quickly you can put those extra pounds back on etc. I now go for a cheat MEAL on a Saturday night and leave it there. Still gives me something to look forward to in the week.

Ur more likely to gain fat having 1 massive meal a week rather than having a day of high carbs where u have 30-40g of carbs every 3 hours, still have mainly good carbs but the odd small pizza or sumfin wont hurt just dont gorge. Cut the jacket potato out totally aswel its very high on the glycemic index, especially at that time, sweet potatos much better and pastas better still, but if i were u i'd have all my carbs by dinner time (except for my postworkout shak). Id swap the raisins for berries aswel, theres alot less carbs in them. If ur trying to lose fat u want to cut down the carbs as much as u can (i do a gram per pound of bodyweight on workout days, half that on non workout days) so u shudnt need additional carbs in waxy vol at all, unless ur usin that as ur postworkout shake?
