Well I guess you know you've had a worthwhile workout once the DOMS sets in - by the way my legs are currently feeling I must have had an awesome session on Wednesday evening!!! Clicky for the details.
Don't tend to get it very much these days normally.
Back & Biceps session later should warm me up & sort me out.
Any sure fire cures you guys use?

A nice massage off the missus. That is not an offer to anyone haha that is my cure.

its heavy negatives that causes DOMS. the breakdown more often occurs in the eccentric contraction of the reps. slow heavy reps on the way down = serious pain.

I find its the higher reps also that cause pain.
I dont often get doms when im doing the 6ish rep range...but when i go to liek 12 i do.
Some people believe that if you don't get Doms then you haven't trainer right or you wont grow..but thats not the case.

I had a sports massage for the 1st time last week (thought it was about time after 3 years of training), only on my back and calfs, killed on the calfs tho! My back was actually achin for a few days after aswel, i dont know if thatd help after the DOMS but it mite help prevent it? I didnt do it for this reason though as i actually like getting DOMS cos like u say it makes u feel like uve had a good workout!
