Default Does anyone have a role model or inspiration?

Does anyone have a role model that motivates them in life/for the next 3 months?

Mine is Greg Plitt, he's considered the number 1 fitness model in the world right now.

Not only he has a great physique but it what he has achieved in life makes him a good role model for people to look up to. E.g. he was a former US Army Ranger that served his country.

Heres a few useful vids i found of him, hopefully it can motivate some of you aswell.

Greg explaining the benefits of working out (fast forward to 2:32 for the best part)

that guy is ace. my idols in bodybuilding etc are people like flex wheeler for creatine the best physique of all time but you gotta love arnie. a man who can be the best bodybuilder in the world, then move to america and become the biggest action movie star in the world (even though his acting is appaling), to then become mayor of one of the biggest economies in the world (with no political background or education in politics), you gotta appreciate the guys need to be the best.

Dear 2010 muscle! I certainly would love to break it to you about the facts about the models we take in our life. I mean role models!(Don’t get me wrong there) Now when you are going to take a role model, there are certain things that you need to take into account. First of all, if its fitness an all, is he your height! Second, is he having the same symmetry as we do. Third, is he hard working or has he taken shortcuts (steroids). And finally, have we got the proper resources to achieve something like him. If all these match up then you are good to go! My role model is Me!

I agree with some of this..however steroids arent always shortcuts..you need to train harder than ever whilst using and diet has to be spot on..without this you will struggle to see much benefit atall other than messing with your hormones..which means when you do come off you will probably lose whatever you have gained..then struggle to gain naturally as the person's diet/training and sleep isnt up to scratch..so in a weird way..they could actually slow down your progress.
    Thanks
