    Default Simple sugars during bulk

    As a hardgainer do you think there is a place for more simple sugars during my bulk, currently the only time I really take on any simple high GI carbs is on my cheat day. I'll be taking in some simple carbs post workout in my Growth Matrix shake, but i'm thinking of adding some king of dextrose sugar to my "mass" shakes throughout the day.

    Do you think this is a good idea or will it just be converted to fat?
    If its true you only go around once, you might as well go around with really big biceps.

    Try it and find out dude, thats the only true way to tell!
    If your like Adam then im sure you will be fine, pretty sure he has a fair bit of simple sugars when bulking.

    Yeah I think i'll give it a go. I remember the old Mega Mass 10,000 powders which offered you 10,000 calories per shake! Trouble was it's all sugar, guess it did what it said on the tin! I'll start adding some if i'm not gaining at the desired rate.
    If its true you only go around once, you might as well go around with really big biceps.

    10,000 calories per shake....that is obscene! Who the hell needs 10,000 calories in 1 serving! YIKES

    10,000 cals per shake is impossible. that would require over 1kg of fat in your shaker or 2.5kg or protein and carbs. you would have to open a standard 5lb tub and simply pour some milk in and shake.

    in regards to your question. i do consume quite a lot of sugars during bulking in the form of maltodextrin. its a cheap and easy way to get calories and with my body any calories are useful calories as i dont care about fat gain. diabetes is a worry though lol.

    I was exagerating about the "Mega Mass 10,000" shake!! I just remember many many years ago going to Holland & Barrett and struggling home with what seemed like a barrell of Weiders Mega Mass, thinking it would bulk me up to look like a pro overnight! I just remember that stuff tasting horribly sweet and having no idea what was in it! How times have chnaged!
