Default am i going to lose muscle?

ive started a personal training course and they make you go to a gym and do certain things but one thing is they make you do circuit training of dips squats ect ect. which makes a huge build up of lactic acid and by the time i get home i ache way to much to go to the gym and do my normal workout, but i do do it anyway but im thinking should i be doing this cirtcuit training before?

The all over condidtioning should keep allow you to maintain your muscle mate, just make sure that you continue to treat them like weight sessions with the correct post work out shake etc. If anything, due to the change in routine, I would expect your strength to increase even if your visible muscle size doesnt as free body weight movements are fantastic for you.

You should enjoy the chance to take a break from the weights - after a week identify what areas aren't being worked, and then maybe factor in 1x "mop up session" if you are worried (Thats what I would do). If your achy and hanging though thats a good sign, circuit training isnt too different from HiiT training, so your cardio levels should go through the roof!

Good for you doing a personal training course, I have always thought i'd like to do that! You don't want to over do it so maybe just do the training on the course for the time being.
If its true you only go around once, you might as well go around with really big biceps.

If your making good gains then carry on doing both. When your body stops responding or you feel like your over training knock it back a peg - jsut eat more to compensate for it.

Your body should be ok with the increased intensity for a short period of time, you know when you start picking up little niggly injuries itll be time to slow down
