    Default Cutting help

    right here goes the essay

never worried about cutting before my sole aim was too put on as much mass as i possibly could and wasnt really worried about cutting
my abbs have never shown but thats because iv never liked trainning them and never liked cardio
and as neither of these was essential to be honest i never bothered and told myself that was something i could focus on and improve in the future and soley focused on mass and strength.

well nows that time holiday in first week of September so 2 1/2 months away

iv been easing myself into new eating habits and new training habits ready for the end of this month when im going to kick my plans into action giving me 2 months to get to were i plan to be.

iv been easing into a lowish carb diet no carbs after 2
so were i used to be eating for tea steak/salmon with rice/potato/pasta
im now eating it on its own or with sum veg/salad.

iv eased myself into cardio and tbh im quite enjoying it weirdly.
i started of at 10 mins every other night and have progressed to 20-25 on a good day
my aim is to be doing 20 mins every night by the end of the month.
i train mon - fri atm so the intention is to do 20 mins at the end of each workout combined with some abb work im currently doing abbs every other night more or less

supplement wise atm im using protein and L-glut 2-3 times a day

for my 2 months i intend to use cytolean for the first month and then mitotropin for the second and CLA throughout i also intend to keep up my protein/l-glut intake of two shakes a day so as to not loose as much mass.
but im going to switch to a protein with the minimum amount of carbs i can find ANY SUGGESTIONS ???
i was also considering buying some PHD Diet Whey bars to prevent me snacking on crap.

i want to loose as little weight as possible its the fat i want rid of around my lower abdominals.

any help, suggestions, comments, adjustments to my plan would be greatly appreciated

    and sorry for the essay

I'm no expert but no doubt people will help you out. From what I understand the fact you've bought cardio in is good, it would probably be worth hitting abs to cut them up and give them some shape.
Supplement wise I've got no knowledge. If you've got the dedication you've got enough time, the people on her done wonders in 3 months.

    Good luck with the cut.

Not used Cytolean, but I've used the Mitotropin and found it to be a very good appetite suppressant, but still felt like i had plenty of energy too. More detail here: http://fitforum.co.uk/showthread.php?742-Time-to-Burn!

Honestly, probably not a strict enough one in relation to my carb intake. I'd just come off a couple of months of what we'll class as a mini-bulk, where I'd added about 6.5kgs of bodyweight, when I started on the Mitotropin.

I think now, having been a bit(!) stricter over the last month or so, I'd find it easier to be more disciplined with it. I do miss being at my strongest though

From what iv read theres conflicting views on it one place said it was exactly the same as a keto diet another said it was similar but with differences.
im just guna go for low carbs high protein which both seem to agree with.
but exactly how low am i supposed to go with the carbs?
iv read that its not recomended to drop below 1 carb per 1 kg of body weight and other places iv read of people taking on as low as 10-20.
can anyone clear this up for me?????
first time iv ever looked at my diet in detail.it normaly consists of eating as much protein as i can and disregarding everything else.

Somewhere along the line, the Palumbo diet and Ketosis have become merged - but they are very similar. In any case, to make either of them work I would suggest this (having used a keto diet in the past):

In order to make a keto diet work then you need to basically take in no direct carbs. There is no hard and fast rule, and it will vary from person to person. Typically your looking to stay below 40-50g a day. Once you start a ketosis diet, it takes several days for your body adjust - during this period you'll feel lethargic, have a metallic taste in your mouth, and sexual fantasies about anything carby. Once this is over it gets alot easier. It is recommended that your cheat meal (first one 2 weeks in, then every week afterwards) consists of 'clean' low GI carbs in order to replenish glycogen levels. How sustainable a ketosis diet is is debateable - but for this you might be better looking at simpler ketosis diets (the ATKINS diet uses a similar principle).

Rule of thumb though, when your stomach grumbles, its time to eat more meat, when it grumbles again you wash it away with a protein shake, and then when it grumbles again you hit it with a fatty red meat.

Again, there is alot more information is JOSHLARGES cutting Thread, and if you do a search for PALUMBO.

keto diet consists of calories being mainly from fats 60%, 35% calories from protein and rest NONE DIRECT carbs, palumbo diet is 60% calories from protein, 35 % from fats and 5% from carbs, i used this for the comp, very effective, would i use it again? i don't know

Just lay off the milkybar yogurts you had today, even if they are 2packs for £1....... and stay strict with your low carb diet, increasing protein intake will also aid in cutting.
