    Default Deadlifts are dangerous!

A bold statement which im sure you'll agree. I always watch videos on youtube of bodybuilding (movtivational purposes) and have come accross these guys a few times. Most of their information makes sense and is very helpful. However I wasnt sure what to think after watching this video. Have a look and see what you think. Basically I have never heard someone completely write off deadlifts. I mean maybe what they're saying is correct, someone enlighten me please.

    Good mornings are worse.

But, as I'm so extra manly, I do them regardless.
There is no one who has mastered the farmer's walk quite like me. Want to dispute that? Good luck. I'm from Dorset.

    Every exercise can be dangerous.

I liked the the part where they offered some scientific evidence.

Yep they are dangerous if performed incorrectly - but most weight training is dangerous, what about dropping a 40kg dumbbell on your head doing seated shoulder press? That aint going to do you any favours lol

Every exercise can be dangerous if performed with bad tech or to much weight.

    i like their interpretation lol

personally i dont do deads anymore, just straight legged ones for my hams (which im thinking of replacing with kneeling squats) and rack pulls for lower back.

Anything is dangerous if done incorrectly.... A deadlift is probably less dangerous than a squat, a bench press, or standing press.... or skullcrushers... see the trend here.
