At lunchtime when it's a workout day, I most often than not have a pasta and chicken meal and then a muesli flapjack mid afternoon. Before setting off for the gym I have an apple juice/pomegranite juice drink with a spoon of Creatine in it and then when I'm walking to the gym I eat a cereal bar. Having said all that, today I have been out and got a tub of PhD's V Max Pump to have before my workouts.

protein - which builds muscle and repairs muscle.
creatine - helps with protein sythesis, muscle recovery and endurance when training.
branch chain amino acids - which help build new muscle proteins and improve recovery
beta-alanine - raises carnosine levels which improves performance in endurance and strength.
food wise if your not on a cutting diet then oats about an hour before your preworkout shake is good, if on a cutting diet then clean meat like chicken or turkey is good or almonds for healthy fats.

bodybuilding is the only sport where your rewarded for failure
Will you still be having a meal before your workout, and also using the V Max Pump?
Thanks
Im cutting atm, should i use a pre workout supp? are they that good, which ones would u reccommend?
Thanks
They are good, but if you could try samples first, that would be best because various guys on the forum have tried a few different ones and their reviews do vary. I would read through the reviews especially the ones under (I think) ACs sample reviews. I think they are in the 'Pre Workout bit of the forum.
If you are cutting, the pre workout formulas give you the extra boost and focus that is needed if you aren't getting the energy from carbs.
