Minging! Have you read that abscess article on MT? Enough to make you want to hurl...
Yeah I've read that abcess thread on MT mate this abcess had nothing to do with that sort of activity though
Right then kiddo's today's been a weird day for diet. I've been carb loading and sorry for the secrecy but until I've been told I can talk about my diet and training I can't really say much more other than today has been interesting and a total break from my normal dieting routine. New training begins on Monday just ironing out the final details and waiting for the green light that what I've submitted is good to go and my new training phase will begin. Today's session in the gym has been a tester of my left pec more than anything. I think the infection has cleared but I'm still left with an open wound which I'm still having to dress. Did some heavy shoulder pressing a bit of back and finished off with a bit of light chest. No real damage at all but if it doesn't heal over over the weekend it'll be back to the doctors on monday morning or failing that tuesday. Anyway here's how my makeshift session went.
Standing Smith Press:
10@50kg, 5@80kg, 2@90kg
Deadlift:
5@110kg, 4@130kg
Isolateral Shoulder Press:
12@30kg, 8@50kg, 3@70kg
Chin Up's:
7, 6, 4
Seated Chest Press:
12@30kg, 12@60kg
workout done!
Told you it was a bit of a makeshift session but was really just to test the water more than anything.

Kind of...not wanting to bad mouth somebody on an open forum I just became unhappy with the overally coaching service I was receiving from Scott, I was approached by somebody else who I know will be able to take me to the next level, who is very much on the same wavelength as me and is so far providing me with a very professional service so for the foreseeable future I will reamin under the guidance of this individual, when I'm told I can reveal more I will but until then my lips are sealed.Oh sorry I must have missed that, what happened? find someone better/cheaper?
sweet!
keep training hard mate, and reply to my email lol

Ok, I've been given the go ahead to talk about my training and reveal the massive secret as to who I'm working with at the moment....*drumroll please*.... pleased to announce I'm now working alongside the one and only Dave Young on my quest to hit the stage in 2013. Diet has changed quite dramatically it's now much much simpler than what I had previously and although I'm still losing weight diet is being carefully monitored by Dave. Training has also changed and there's more focus on individual bodyparts and whereas I was training 3 maybe 4 bodyparts under my old regime Dave's is a lot more focused and intense. the logbook approach is still being used which means each week I'm hell bent on beating my weights or reps otherwise the exercise changes to something I probably don't want in my regime. So I've been on the diet for just over a week now and began my training on Monday, chest infection has cleared up nicely so I've got a clean bill of health at the momentSo, without further a do, here's tonights training.

Took 45minutes to do the above, didn't have time to do ab's so am going to put them into tomorrow's workout. This workout should have been done last night but because of my tool of an area manager I didn't get out of work until 9.15pm so had no time to train. Will be training Back and Biceps tomorrow with Ab's thrown in and then Quads and Calves on Saturday.
