    Default Hi There

Hi My name is Paul and im 28 living in South Wales.

around 4 years ago i was realy into weights and the gym and went to the gym 5 days a week at that time i was around 10 stone and built like a bean pole. At that point i started using a mixture of creatine and Mammoth 2500 (excellent weight gain product by the way) and within a yeah a gained around 2 stone and liked the way i was built.

I then suffered with kidney stone (admitted to hospital for a week on the 1st occasion) and found it very difficult to get back into training. since then i have bought my own house with my fiance and we have a 2 1/2 year old son and 1 1/2 year old husky ( helped alot in keeping me fit) We are getting married next july and i have set myself a goal of getting rid of my flabby belly and getting back to the they way i was.

I have started the gym 3 days a week and take the dog on 3 mile walks/ jogs/ runs every day but i was wondering if people could give me some advice on what suppliments i should use while training and when to use them? I am around 12 1/2 stone now and around 5ft 10 so i dont want to put on alot of weight but want to bulk up my arms and upper body and loose my belly.

    Thanks for any advice.

    Paul

Hi Paul and welcome to the site.

It's good to see that you are here and looking to strive to reach your goals mate.

It would help if you could break down 'healthy eating'. How many times a day do you eat and what do you eat? This would help to assertain the composition of your diet with regard to proteins/carbs/fats.

As for your routine you will obviosuly need to incorporate wrights and cardio 9as you are doing) and I would suggest that compund movements would give you the quickest gains (bench press, squats, deadlifts, dips etc)

Once we see your diet in a little more depth, we will be able to suggest supplementation.

    Hi there,

At the moment my diet consists of:

    Breakfast:

Bowl of Porridge and a banana

    Dinner:

    Sandwiches, crisps and banana/apple

    Lunch:

either 2x chicken breasts with potato and veg or spagetti bolognaise.

Then gym for an hour and i have a protein bar when i finish.

Then take the dog out for an hr about an hr or 2 after the gym?

    hope this helps?

Base of diet is good...you say you want to bulk up arms and lose your body...however they are both conflicting goals!

Choose one and focus hard on it..when you have chosen which one you want to achieve then we will be able to sort you out a diet!

bes to concentrate on one per day to start off with to save yourself getting confused. have a look in the trianing section. josh has posted a great mass building reoutine. dont neglect bodyparts, you say you want to work on your chest but if you neglect shoulders and back you will look disproportinate. and also make sure you train LEGS!! your diet is in all honesty not what is required to buildmuscle. your final meal of the day is ok but i dont think you'll ever see a bodybuilder eat sandwiches and crisps. have a look in the diet section. post your diet up there and we'll have a look and improve on it where we can. once you have clear goals that is the first step to achieving them. set a target and we will guide you along the way. trust me with the help on this forum you'll go a long way.
