Hello,

Just made a few amendments to my diet as iv decided to bulk for the rest of July and cut in august prior to my holiday:-

8:00 - Weetabix, cup of tea
10:00 - 2 eggs, scrambled
13:00 - Jacket potato, cottage cheese, salad or beans on toast, or tuna Sandwich & a yogurt
15:30 - 2 oatcakes with peanut butter, Banana & Protein Shake
17:00 - PHD V-Max Pump
17:45 to 18:45 Workout followed by protien shake
19:00 - tea, usually chille & rice, or oven baked fish & chips or chicken stir fry etc
23:00 - porridge before bed
00:30 - bed

How does that look? anything i can add/change? also, iv cut out chocolate, crisps etc. Should i just eat whatever or is it a good idea to cut these out?

thanks for looking

Workout your Protein/Carbs/Fats and overall calorific intake mate, that should tell you if you are getting enough. I think you may want some more protein in there.

Have a look at these links too:

Hi there mate, from what I can see from 19:00 until 08:00 your not consuming very much protein, its along time too go without any especially as during sleep is a key time for muscle growth and repair. Perhaps you could take Phd pharma blend 6 hr before bed as this is a slow release protein, or another casein based protein supplement. This will really assist with gaining muscle and will definately improve your recovery to. Rest of the diet looks pretty good tho!!

It depends how hardcore you want to take it, diet is vital so you want to get it as good as possible for your lifestyle. I think you'll prob need some more quality carbs in there too.

This is a really useful tool http://www.myfitnesspal.com/ (Thanks to Diesel)

Work and your nurtitional intake and post it up.

There's not much left of July for bulking! Is say you need more meat in that diet for good quality protein (although I'm no expert at bulking!)
