Can you drink coke zero? I'm getting so bored of water it's nice to have a can everynow and then. Used to be diet coke but cut it out since going keto.

100% yes you can drink coke zero just don't go crazy, the most i had was 3 a day but that was deep into the challenge and only when i was really struggling. i read that citric acid (whats in diet coke plus pepsi max) can kick you out of ketosis but i never had any problems and always had that dam metal mouth lol

I've always wondered if you could drink diet coke/coke zero as I thought any carbonated drink like coke must have calories and carbs etc. Looks like I will be having a fe coke zero's now and again then ;)

Yea theres a video on youtube with Dave Palumbo talkin to Evan Centopani and Guy Cisternino about soft drinks and he says how he used to drink 2-3 litres of diet soda a day while he was on his cutting diet as it makes you feel better, helps keep the cravings away and although not good to have that much heallth wise, physically it will still keep you in ketosis while tricking your body into thinking it's getting carbs when it's not

there's 6 videos altogether and it's a bit of a long watch but some great info. I put them up on the forum ages ago so they're all in one place.

@Tom, I loved the keto, was a little worried how much I liked it :)
Three things I learnt though was the first 4 days are crap, personally I wouldn't have a cheat meal, did about three weeks with no cheat, got cravings gave in and it went down hill. Fat burners were a life saver mainly for the energy boost. I was getting about 4-5 hours sleep but was buzzing. I kept them by my bed so in the morning could neck them, by the time I showered I was good to go!

If any one has questions on keto let me know - I run the thread on muscletalk HERE (http://www.muscletalk.co.uk/Dave-Palumbo-Keto-Diet-Questions-Ask-them-here-m3919436.aspx) and used it as my comp diet to cut for the show in August 2010 (gasparinutrition.co.uk/matt-wild.html) and qualified me for the UKBFF Finals in October last year. Works very well!

Yes please - my diet is always poorly planned - I want to get cut- prob with keto I wanna have energy to play basketball and beat running times- anything you would suggest?

Yep - not doing other cardio in the day and resting whenever you can. Too much exercise = burnt muscle. Also pro-hormones or similar will help you keep your mass.
