I have now switched to training in the afternoons, I normally tee off about at 5.30pm. I am however finding myself hungry when I get to the gym as I have my mid-afternoon meal at 3.30pm. I am thinking of shifting my mid afternoon meal to 3pm to open a window at 4.30pm for another feeding.

The question is what should this meal be? Whole meal or shake? I am thinking maybe simple carbs in there for maximum energy and some whey as this will be digested nicely by the time I am hitting the weights. I want to be firing on all cyclinders when I enter the gym but am not sure what nutients are going to fit the bill.

There has been alot of talk about preworkout shakes but what about the pre preworkout, I reckon this is one of the vital feedings of the day!

I quite often have a protein flapjack (oat based) like the PhD or CNP ones about an hour before a workout... works for me and taste good too!

Machine thats actually a really good idea, fast protein from the egg whites and mental stimualtion and pump from the vodaka plus the alcohol prob cooks the protein slighly making it even quicker to digest. Nice idea!
